Million-dollar homes are selling at TWICE their historical average, rising nearly 8% in March from the same time last year.
With that in mind, it’s probably no surprise that properties are in demand, thanks in part to relatively low inventories. In March, properties sold at a median of just 55 days. The takeaway? If you like it, make an offer!
So what are new buyers looking for? For nearly half it’s a brand new property—but many aren’t willing to pay the premium on new.
It’s Mother’s Day this weekend! Celebrate mom with a great brunch in a new town you’re exploring:
One of the best on Long Island (The New York Times calls it “excellent!”), Besito is Roslyn is a delicious, upscale—but family-friendly!—hotspot for brunch, drinks and more.
Built in 1790 as a barn, farm-to-table darling Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua has become a modern day fave, serving up sophisticated country dining just 45 minutes from NYC.
New American cuisine is on the menu at Bistro 18 in Montclair. From organic meats to wild fish and house-made pasta, this seasonally-driven restaurant has everything!
Local farms and food artisans come together at Elm in New Canaan. This creative, relatively new addition to the Fairfield County brunch scene is a must-try. Grab a seat outside, even!
Enjoy the weekend!
