• F&W Schmitt’s Farm on Long Island hosts a weekend-long fall festival all through October. Snag a pumpkin, then enjoy a hayride, pony ride, petting zoo and bounce park.
• In Westchester, Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm opens its pumpkin patch in October only, so get there fast! They’ve also got a great market, plus other pick-your-own options.
• In Northern NJ, Demarest Farms is the all-season go-to. Pick your own pumpkin, then hit up the farm store for plenty of goodies to eat onsite, or to take home.
• Heading to CT? Check out the Jones Family Farm in Shelton, complete with a farm, pumpkin patch, winery, kitchen and plenty of seasonal events.
