Out & About in the 'burbs This Weekend!

It’s almost Friday! Hope you and your family are enjoying the great weather—it’s the perfect time to get out and explore some great new neighborhoods!

·       Spring and summer can be a tricky time for prospective buyers—the post-winter thaw can leave some in sticker shock. Here’s what to prepare for.

·       Grab your favorite pooch for the Old Westbury Gardens Spring Dog Festival on Saturday and Sunday. There will be plenty of space to run around, play and exercise with your four-legged friends, while taking in the splendor of this area treasure.

·       Madison’s Museum of Early Trades and Crafts is hold its “Family Fun Day” this Saturday from 1:00-3:00pm. Tickets are $3 and $5 and get you in for all the great crafts, activities, music and more.

·       In Sleepy Hollow, Philipsburg Manor is hosting its annual Sheep-to-Shawl Festival, complete with hands-on activities and an 18th century fashion show. The event is happening Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm.

·       It’s a festival of BUBBLES at the Stamford Center for the Arts this Sunday. Starting at 3:00pm the center will be all things bubbles, music and comedy—what could be better?
